If you make 83,00 Yearly mortgage payment is 2300 monthly if i forclose can I be sued..I owe more than I can spend

is it a purchase mortgage or refinance loan? depending upon the state you are in, you can be sued if you do not make the deficiency payment on your mortgage. however, there are anti-deficiency laws that protect you from paying the deficiency. but such laws are applicable to purchase mortgages only.
