Where can I get a Loan?

Posted on: 31st Oct, 2008 12:06 pm
I want a mortgage on a 2006 Mobile Home, double-wide, already set up in Colonial Estates Mobile Park in Fayetteville, Pa. With the sale of the townhome we will have a good down-payment, but cannot get a loan because of less than perfect credit.
Hi mtruman!

Keeping in mind the current market situation, I would suggest you to wait for sometime and improve your credit first and then consult the lenders for a loan. There are various ways of improving your credit quickly. You can use some of them to prove to the lenders that you have taken some conscious efforts to improve it from your side.

But in case if you are in a urgency to get a mortgage for the mobile home, you can consult the lenders of this community. You can go in for a no-obligation free mortgage consultation from them.

Thanks.

Hi mtruman,

I agree with James. You will first have to try and improve your credit score and then look for loans. In the present situation, the lenders are giving credit to only those who have excellent credit.

Thanks

There is an urgency in that we own a 3 story townhouse, and my wife has become handicapped and cannot navigate the stairs.
we already have our house up for sale, and may be getting an offer this week. We have been paying all our bills on time without a problem since the bankruptcy in 2004. Experian shows our credit score as 695. Transunion shows 672. however, Equifax shows 571. However, Equifax was showing us with two active mortgages. and the one with Chase Manhatten was included in the bankruptcy. We have sent them proof of this and are hoping that will bring this up. We are currently paying a mortgage of $900.00 per month and will have no problem paying the mortgage on the mobile home.

Hi Michael D Truman!

Once your credit improves as Chase updates their documents, you can start looking for loans. That will be much more helpful as the lenders are not be giving loans to people with a low credit score.

Thanks.
