My original mortgage was FHA, I paid a premium for mortgage insurance. After one year, I refinanced to a conventional loan and the FHA mortgage paid off. My mortgage company tells me they sent prpoer notification to HUD of my paid off loan. I have not received an application for a refund of my premium; I wrote to HUD on Nov. 11, 2008 with all pertinant info, followed up on Deccc. 29, called several times with no response and I still have ot heard from them. Any suggestions? Thank you very much

If possible, meet the representative at the local HUD office. I suppose he can guide you on how to get back the refund money.
