Please help me – Around 6 months ago, I purchased a condo for cash. However, due to a financial crunch, I had to file bankruptcy for credit card and medical debt. Can I loose the house to the credit card and hospital creditors or I save it with the federal Homestead exemption?
if you have filed chapter 7 bankruptcy, then there are high chances that the trustee will come after you and sell off the property in order to pay off your creditors.
