foreclosure and bankruptcy

My husband and I both lost our jobs in 2008. In after being turned down for loan modification, we filed Chptr 7 but kept the house. We have two mortgages totalling $184K, and we had our house appraised and it came in at $138K. We are trying to get BOFA to approve a short sale but our 2nd is with another company. They all want full amounts due. Anyway, is there any way to get the balance of the loans included in the Chptr 7? Thank you so much!
Hi GA Guest,

If your bankruptcy filing has not been discharged yet, then there are high chances that you will be able to include it in your bankruptcy filing. I will suggest you to contact your bankruptcy attorney and take his opinion in this matter.

Thanks
