Did you plan for anything after retirement?

Posted on: 17th Jul, 2008 02:55 am
Hello Everyone! I am a retired man and not even a pension holder and because of this reason I have already made a plan for my future during my job time. I have invested my earnings at that stage in many investing companies with many investors. But after retirement I felt that I should invest my rest of the money which I got after my retirement in some new investing firms which are basically dealing with some real estate properties. Does anyone know about such investors which will help me out?
Hi eduardo.

Welcome to the forum.

In this down market, will it be helpful in real estate investment? BTW you can buy a condo or investment properties but you should be careful as the market is down and the property value is decreasing.

Best of luck,
Larry

Eduardo,

Usually when you invest in real estate, you either purchase a property whether residential or commercial and rent it out. Another form of investing in real estate is when you and other investing parteners invest in a hugh project like a sports complex, gym etc.. That is where you invest your money to get get this facility fixed, equipted, open and running. These are a couple areas you can consider.

Wishing you find that perfect investment.

I'd have to agree partner up with a good loan officer and /or real estate agent and buy up some cheaper properties to rent out. Then manage them yourself or if you don't want to bother get one of your kids or a management company to manage for you.

Hi.. I am also a retired person and I also had the same issues after my retirement, that time one of my companions told me about investing in real estate property which is really a beneficial investment. He told me about an investing firm which provides investment offers in "http://blog.ira-401k-realestate.com/about/]real estate". Now I have invested my money in real estate which I believe was a wise decision and I will suggest you also go through this. Hopefully your issue will also get resolved.

Happy Investments.

Hi Dennis.

Welcome to the forum.

How long ago have you invested on the real estate? Has the property value gone down? Have you rent it out? How much do you earning with these investment properties? I think if you can share this with us then we can understand how good it is to make investment on real estate properties in this financial situation.

Best of luck.

Hi Eduardo,

Real estate investing offers a profitable alternative to stock, bonds and mutual fund investments. You can get deduction on your tax returns for the interest paid on the loan, repairs and maintenance, etc.

You can also get funds during your retirement years simply by investing in rental housing. Rental housing is a sector where prices do not reduce much. So, investing in rental housing or investment properties can be a good option for long term investment.

Hope this helps...

God bless you.

I think I will be getting into real estate around retirement as well...I just dont think I can make as much money in the stock market as I can in real estate. Just my opinion.

Hey Eugene Volovik,

It's really a good suggestion to purchase properties and to rent out them.

Thanks... :)
