30 day reporting to credit bureau

Posted on: 13th Jan, 2011 12:33 pm
What is the law for a 30 day to be reported on the credit bureau.
Is it calendar days or business days? What DATE does the first count day begin for 30 days delinquency?
Example: payment due on 11/1 and payment made on 12/1. Is this considered 30 days? as payment was accepted PRIOR to the end of business closing day on 12/1.
It is calendar days.

The payment is late if received on the 30th day, not AFTER the 30th day.
If your payment was received and processed/credited on the 30th day, it is 30 days late.
