I live in indiana and just received a notice that there will be a sherrif's sale on Oct. 15,2009. How long do we have to move out? Do we have to move before the actual sale date?
no you do not need to move out before actual sale date. they will give you suffieicent time (one - two months) to leave property.
It all depends on the state. I live in Nebraska and the bank took my house back at auction because they didnt get any bids on it and the day after I was given a 3 day to quit notice.
