adverse possession

[font=Arial:9b1aa54b7f][/font:9b1aa54b7f][color=Black:9b1aa54b7f][/color:9b1aa54b7f][size=12:9b1aa54b7f][/size:9b1aa54b7f][b]adverse possession must be open hostile continuous as I understand it what if your property is fenced in in a metal fence with no gate unlocked to advance within but someone climbs over and constructs a non public power pole for their sole use and they work for this private power coop/corp note also the property is signed all around 'private property no trespassing' it is erected a 100 yards from our home at the edge of the property,and being elderly and handicapped we no longer walked our property as we once did and it looked as from our vantage it was on their side one day driving down the road we noticed it was easily 4 feet over on us and 130 feet from road right of way.
each time we called them on the issue they said they'd send someone down but never did months would pass and we'd recall this and send a letter and or call them again this went on for years.
Can they still claim title by prescription,adverse possession?
please explain i cant understand ..

man oh man that was one long sentence...it all sounds pretty shady, and you didn't mention a timeframe for this "construction of power pole."

yes, it's confusing to most of us as well.
