if my mother quit deed her house to my sister, can my mother then later sell her house so she can move? [/b]
Hi,

After the quit claim is done, it will not be possible for your mother to sell the house. As after quit claiming it to her daughter she has no rights left on the house,

Thanks

Hi Dummuck,

If your mother has already transferred interest in the property to your sister, she cannot sell the property. Your mother no longer has rights on the property. Only our sister can sell off the property as she holds ownership rights on it.

Thanks,

Sara.
