Does anyone have experience with a mortage with Wilmington Finance?
You mean that Wilmington does not accept late payments being added to the end of the loan. They require you to clear the unpaid amount first. Well, don't be so gloomy, at least I see something positive here.

You can pay half of the delinquency if they allow you to do so. Let's hope they agree. Then you won't have to wait for someone else to provide assistance. But anyway, even if you get ACORN's assistance, that will help you to get out of this situation.

Do keep us updated so that we can follow up further.

Good luck. :)

If they approve the repayment plan over six months they want 1/2 the delinquency ($1800) now and the balance added on to the other month's regular payments or if they decline a repayment plan the only option is to pay the entire deliquency ($3600). Our delinquent mortgage is only part of the problem.... Due to my fiance being laid off I got into the payday loan nightmare and have been digging out of it. I do see daylight but it is dim.

I have seen many people suffer because of payday loans. But it looks like they will accept the repayment plan. You had reasonable cause because of which defaults occurred and they will consider that while taking a decision.
