This is an account created at the time of loan closing and through which mortgage company pays for your home insurance, property taxes etc. on your behalf.

hi Miller, can you pls explain escrow, i went through the page you've referred but that's too long and hardly have any time to go through it. can you just explain in brief what an escrow means and who opens the account - the lender or borrower

There is much more to learn in an Escrow or rather what exactly is an Escrow Account, if you want I can provide more readable information so that your doubts can be cleared.

Hi Earl,

As sagarthakar mentioned there are lot of things that you have to know about escrow account and to be better informed about them you will have to read about them.

I would be saying the same things that are written over their in that page, so the more you will read, more you will know :)

Hi Brian,

Lolz some rules are quiet funny, anyways I will follow them and will try not to violate any of them, but had a request whenever any of our post is deleted it will be appreciated if the reason is also mentioned, after all we are all Humans and are prone to make mistakes.
