What mortgage lender is good to have a loan

Posted on: 01st Feb, 2011 10:48 am
I know my wife has a good credit score, but not me. We want to buy a mobile home and we dont know how to start or where to go to find affordable loans to pay. We're located in the city of Salt Lake city, utah. I requested for a modification of my mortgage but suddenly the bank asked us to move out of the house with no reason at all. It happened 2 months ago. Now we are (5: -3children-) homeless and looking for a mobile home in the area where my wife works and our kids are going to school.
Can you help us, please?

Thanks,
Nelson
Nelson, I don't like these people who solicit customers blindly, and I suspect that a lender in Massachusetts won't have a clue about any mobile home loan opportunities in Utah.

You said there was no reason given for you to move out of your home. That, frankly, makes no sense - if you were working on your modification, then there's no reason for you to move; if you were in foreclosure and the law day came and went without your having resolved the situation, that's another story. Something is missing here - you ought not to be homeless without good reason.
Seek a mobile home lender in your area - call around, make sure you get straight answers to your questions, and find someone you can trust. The best lender is the person you can trust - there's no specific company that is better than another - you need to find someone who will give you straight answers to your questions. Obviously, also you need to find a lender who is capable of financing a mobile home for someone who has a troubled credit background. I say that because if you've lost your home for any reason at all, it's going to be reflected on your credit report. Ask friends, relatives, coworkers...anyone you know who you feel will give you good information about a loan officer and/or mortgage company...at the same time, use your judgment to be certain.

Sorry, Tom, but I just rendered your comment immaterial and meaningless.

There is always someone we find on these forums who decides it is his or her right to simply advertise, despite the restrictions contained in the user agreement.

Ditto, but not the first time...it's if I've already logged in, go offline for a period of time and get back on thinking I'm still logged in.. then *poof* I'm a ghost on a new posting - "guest" actually.

There are numbers of mortgage lender over the world today. Your choice will of course basically depends on where you are located since it would be the place where you can easily go to. However, with the help of internet, you can search now and will able to know different lending companies. Australia has more to offer.

You mean to say that the Aussies can provide mortgages worldwide? That's an awfully hard thing to comprehend, particularly with Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac (not to mention FHA) here in the USofA changing their tactics (oops...guidelines) seemingly day-to-day.

Can you elaborate, Sabrina?
