Hi bawa.

Welcome to the forum. You should contact with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. You can get the Limited Denial of Participation List at http://www.hud.gov/offices/enforce/ecldp.cfm

Best of luck,
Larry

You check everyone/company involved in the transaction from the borrower to the closing title company

you need the listing agent, buying agent, all sellers and buyers, title company and title agent, appraiser and appraisal company, broker company and broker. Thats it.

Never bumped into this stipulation before. The file I'm working on is a Refi. So I know I just need to focus on the on the borrower, LO, title company, title agent, appraiser, and appraisal company. My question is what is the proper format and documentation that needs to be prepared to fulfill LDP and GSA stip?

Is it safe to say that:

For LDP:
1. In reference to the HUD hyperlink mentioned earlier, we make sure none of the parties are on the list.
2. That we print out the existing LDP list and state that the all parties in the file are not present in the list.

For GSA:
1. In reference to the GSA hyperlink mentioned earlier, where in the website do we navigate to help out this stip?
2. Is there also a list like on the LDP stip that we need to cross reference?
3. What format of documentation do you need to provide? Is there a generic template that we need to follow?

Thanks in advance!

You should contact your lender and your attorney in order to get information in this regard.

Hi JoCajita,

Regarding GSA search: First you will give Last name under basic search of EPLS site and of the party who involved in loan processing. First step is to give last name of party in Last name field and hit search. If you get results then you will again search with the party First name along with the last name and take the print out for documentation. If you did not get any result while searching the party name with last name you no need to search again with first name aswell. Becouse the party name will not there in EPLS site for sure.

Apologize If my answer is not related .

Thanks & Regards,

I am the listing agent, borrower doing conventional 10% down. Lender wants me to write a letter because I guess my name was checked with EPLS. Isnt' EPLS requirement only on loans government loans like FHA and not conventional?
