How do I save myself when I own a home with someone who refuses to pay towards the bills?

How do I save myself when I own a home with someone who refuses to pay towards the bills?...I purchased a home with my girlfriend. Both names on the mortgage and the deed. I put the down payment of 30K down. Now we had a falling out and she refuses to pay towards the bills. She wants to "ride out" a foreclosure. She wont refi or let me, she wont rent it and wont sign if we find a buyer. I dont know what other options I have.
Hi java!

Welcome to forums!

If the lender forecloses on the property, then it will badly affect both your credit and your girlfriend's credit. It will lower both your credit by around 250 to 300 points.

You have mentioned that she won't sign the papers if you find a buyer. In that case, you will not be able to go for a short sale or a deed in lieu foreclosure. You can check if the lender will agree for a loan modification or a forbearance.

Feel free to ask if you have further queries.

you'd be well-served, i believe, to consult with an attorney. you may wish to investigate a partition in this case, which would alleviate your pain.
