Student loan

I cosigned a student loan in 2003. It was for 1,631. The person I cosigned was given 16,310. I received a letter stating that I was responsible for some late payments in 2006. This is when I became aware that the person i cosigned for must have changed the form before he submitted it. What can i do now.
You seem to be in trouble, just inform the lender about it. may be he can help you out as he will be accepting the payments.

Hi,

If you think that the person you cosigned for has changed the form before submitting the form, you should confront him directly. You must have a copy of the form. Show it to the lender so that he is convinced that the other person has changed the form.

Thanks
