I wanted some details on when irs issues the release of the notice of federal tax lien.Cory Everson
Hi Cory,

IRS issues Release of the Notice of Federal Tax Lien normally:
  1. Within thirty days after a person satisfies the tax due (including interest and other additions) by paying the debt or by having it adjusted, or
  2. Within thirty days after IRS accepts a bond that the person submits, guaranteeing payment of the debt.
Thanks

Also, in addition the person must pay all fees that a state or other jurisdiction charges to file and release the lien. All these fees are added to the amount owed by the person.
