we paid a title company to run a search before our mortgage. Now we find that our deed is not clear. We cannot get the title company to give us an honest answer. They keep putting us off. What can we do?
Hopefully you purchased the title insurance offered at closing...if so, you will be fine. If not, then you will have to come out of pocket for the costs of litigating it.
What do you mean "the deed is not clear"? What exactly is the problem?
