I would like to purchase a home, i had a short sale 2.5 years ago and would like to re-purchase now. Can i do that? I have re-established my credit since then and have a very good credit score.

As you have a good credit score, you will be able to buy a home now. Normally, after a short sale, the borrowers will have to wait for 2-3 years in order to get a mortgage.
