Closing costs

We are purchasing a property and our closing is on next Monday. However, the title company wants us to wire transfer the money ASAP. Will it be a safe option to transfer the money to them now? Will it be possible to get a refund if the closing does not take place?
Hi Guest,

In most cases, the title company will ask the borrowers to wire the funds beforehand and they disburse the funds at the time of closing. If the closing does not take place, then the money will get credited back to your account.

Take care.

You may require to wire the fund beforehand and they distribute the fund at the time of closing. In case, if the closing is not successful, the fund can be creadited back to the account.
