We will be closing our home but the closing date will be around the Christmas. We will be on a vacation at that time. Will it be possible to do the closing vial e-mail or fax?

It will be better if you could get in touch with the lender and postpone the date of closing so that you can come back from the vacation and then close the loan.

Talk to your lender about this and try to postpone the closing date since you will be on a vacation.
