I already have the land and a foundation built on the land. We want to build on top of the foundation and will need a construction loan. Is this possible? If not, what type of lending can we use to build our home?
It depends on a couple of things.
1) Do you own the land free and clear?
2) What type of home are you planning on building?
3) What is your current mid credit score?
4) What state are you in?
5) How much money do you have to put into the deal?
6) Do you a general contractor or builder or do you plan on doing it yourself?
