I took out a small consumer loan in the state of TN with Sun Loan Company. Not a pay day loan or check into cash but a signature only loan based on my credit report. The loan was only for $250.00. I am on disability and social security. I have missed one payment with them. They are now calling my family members several times a day, telling my neighbors about my loan when they come to look for me and threatening me with jail time. Is this possible? I realize I need to pay the debt but is it possible for me to go to jail over this?
