FHA 590 mid score??

Posted on: 01st Jun, 2009 06:45 pm
I am looking for an FHA lender that will do a mid score of 590 for a purchase approve/eligible with good reserves and stability!! Anyone out there for San Antonio TX??? Thank you!
I know there are lenders that will take an FHA with a 580 or higher on the east coast so I will go on a limb and say you should be able to find a lender out there. Chances are you will have to go through a broker in order to do so though, so shop with some brokers and see what you can find.
Good luck

Hi, a score of 590 is just under the min score of 620 in which most lenders in this economy use. Are you purchasing this house soon? If not id say wait it out and get your score above the 620 mark and you should be fine.

Hello Everybody, There are you have a 620 fico score to get FHA i think 580 is not sufficient to get FHA from lender. That means 620 score is required & you have to improve it faster by paying your bills & old credits. Do not apply for new credit card it will harm to your fico score.

590 isn't impossible but you might be paying for it.
Can I ask what are the reasons behind the 590 score. If you give me some background, maybe there is some advise I can give in order to help boost your score quickly.
