Where can I get a personal loan using my mobile home as collateral?...I am in need of a large sum of money for catostrophic reasons. My mobile home is a 1992 liberty and has real wood floors, jacuzzi, large cedar deck and other amenities. I do not want to move but would like to see if there is anywhere out there to get a loan using my mobile home as collateral.
I have a mobile home that is in our family - paid off. It is probably worth about $20K - $30K, all I need is to borrow $7K - $10K. Who can I go to and get a loan, using the home as collateral? I would only need the money for a SHORT period of time (60 days MAX...)
