Payday loan companies - not me!

Posted on: 27th Jan, 2010 01:32 pm
Someone called me yesterday after having read one of my posts. I don't comprehend how confusing these payday loan companies must be. The call was accusatory in nature, as if I were a representative for one of these payday outfits. As in...I "had not returned phone calls; they can't get in touch with me"...that sort of thing.

I don't believe there has ever been a representative of a payday loan company that's actually posted in this forum. If there has, they've undoubtedly hidden themselves quite well, because consumers are continuously expressing frustration at not being able to contact them.

I'll say it again: i have no affiliation whatsoever with usfastcash or any other payday lender. everything that i have posted on this website concerning payday loans is my personal opinion based on observations i've made along with my experiences in the banking and lending fields.

Thanks for listening.
oh, and i forgot to add this:

please don't call me asking questions about your loan that you obtained through one of these outfits.

seems like an odd situation George seeing as I've yet to read a post of yours which advocates Payday loans, except as an extreme last resort.

I would have thought you'd be getting calls asking you to be less hard on PDL companies!

it strikes me as odd, too.

from seeing all these posts about these companies, it's readily apparent that one of a few things is taking place: either the companies don't provide any information about themselves to their clientele at all; or they don't provide contact information; or they move immediately after the loan is granted and can't, therefore, be located; or (most likely) the people who borrow from them are unsophisticated to the point that they don't recognize the need to pay attention to who it is they're borrowing from and therefore cannot figure out how to go back with whatever issues they may be facing.

it's a quandary.
