another loan question

I took out a $300 loan and they've taken payments out at $90 for several months. I live in PA. I emailed the person that confirmed my loan about sending me the payoff paperwork, and she has not responded to either email with the form. Can I just inform my bank to stop all payments and allow them to come after me directly with any payoff information? Will my bank do this? Thanks..

Yes you can send a request to the bank to stop the payments. In such situation they would have to contact you about the payoff. But which company did you take the loan from, is it a payday loan company?

Hi Guest,

Welcome to the forums.

You can stop the bank from allowing them to withdraw money from your account. But then before you do so, inform your creditor about what you've thought of. Wait for a few days for their reply and if you do not get any response, you may stop the payments. Now, the bank may agree with you depending upon how you explain the issue and whether you can provide them with the proofs of your dealings with the creditors.

Just try to contact your bank and have a talk with the creditor and then let us know what they've suggested. This will help us to come up with more suggestions.

Hope this helps...

God bless you.
