Ok am i supposed to file the Adverse Possession before we move in or after we been there for a while? and where can I get the forms that need to be filled out and filed at the court house?This is for a house in Las Vegas Nevada.
Permission from the owner, as given by a lease, does not qualify because it is not hostile.

As far as I know, you may have to file the adverse possession before you move in to the property. However, in order to claim adverse possession, you need to maintain the property for a certain period of time as per your state laws and pay taxes for that property.
