4 months and no progress-can I get my money back?

Posted on: 20th Dec, 2010 01:03 pm
hello everyone,

i am a bit frustrated so i have ended up looking to see if can find some advice. i approached a lender in late august of this year. i want to refi my mortgage but i need a subordination on my home equity loan first. after 3 attempts my lender has failed to get the subordination. they are now asking me for more money and a ton of information they told me they did not need 4 months ago. i have paid over $600.00 up to this point and nothing has happened. i have asked for my money back and they are ignoring me. what should i do?

thanks
Hi jamwin!

Welcome to forums!

It will be quite difficult for you to get back the money. I will suggest you to have a word with a local attorney and check out his opinion in this regard.
