what score do i need to go for fha loan.
Hi Corona, FHA requires a minimum fico score of 620. They will also look for 2 years work history, bank statements, debt, recent pay stubs. FHA loans do require a minimum 3.5% down payment.
many lenders require 620. we've seen numerous posts that claim you can obtain an fha loan from some lenders with a score of as low as 500. that seems pretty far-fetched, but i suppose there's anything possible.
Hey George, Yes i have seen those posts too im not sure what kind of success story come with those 500 scores. But Corona as long as you have yours 620+ then you should be fine score wise.
