i am gong to file for divorce and need some information. my soon to be ex husband and i purchased a home in texas over a year ago through an owner finance. i need to have my name rremoved from the papers on the house. what can i do, does he have to refinance since he refused to leave and is now living in the home?
normally in order to be removed form the title you have to refinance or sell the property. if your not on the mortgage you can just to a quit claim deed to be removed.
