Survey available for mortgage pros AND homebuyers alike-

Posted on: 04th Jul, 2006 10:56 am
Hello all. I want to invite you all to please take a moment to view my Blog, which now incorporates a market survey regarding the new mortgage product I am starting to market. Any responses will be greatly appreciated. Said responses will be documented and could help bring another mortgage alternative to the borrower, one that has some significant financial benefits over some products now available.

To some I'm sure it appears as though I am beating a dead horse with this, but trust that I am not. The reality and viability of this new loan product is much closer now than it was 3 months ago when I first mentioned it here.

Thanks to all, and have a great July 4th!!

Certainly there are some unique attractive features. BTW, why didn't you mention the link to your blog here? I hope that will be helpful to the visitors who haven't gone through it yet.

Hi Ken,

I went through your blog and the studied the AMF product. Some of the features are comparatively new and sounds interesting.

I think there is a good chance that consumers would like to have a go at it. How do you plan to launch it? Will it be available locally or nationwide?

Best of Luck.

Nice to see you here Ken!! I am sure consumers will show interest in your new product. :)

Hello- Thanks for the responses.
Right now I am getting all the "ducks in a row", and shortly will begin a marketing campaign to seek out potentially interested Banks and Lenders that could offer and sell this mortgage loan to borrowers. My hope is that (eventually) it will be made available nationally.
Of course I can't guarantee any such results, or the timeframe, but my guess is nothing would be available in the open market for at least another 3-4 months. But I will keep the community in the loop as far as the progress. Thanks for asking-

Best wishes,
KL

Good morning- Just wanted to pass along, to anyone who may be interested or curious, some of the marketing survey results regarding the consumer demand for this AMF new mortgage I'm developing.
Basically, some of the key stats- found from over 1500 respondents:
2% of borrowers would definitely sign up
11% of borrowers would very likely sign up
23% of borrowers would somewhat likely sign up

And about a third were undecided/ neutral to the idea. And most of that is due to limited education of the mortgage/ lack of understanding, etc.

So overall, the reality is pretty close to what I anticipated. So someday some of you may actually hear about this being offered- by someone other than me  . My thinking has always been if there is a proven demand, there will be a Lender who will find a means of making "it" happen. We'll see.....
Thanks,
KL

Hi Ken,

You are right, if there is a proven demand, lenders will surely come forward and offer the new mortgage product. I personally feel that if a product can serve the needs of common people who can get some benefits out of the services of the lender, then customers do prefer the product over others in the same industry.

Wishing you all the best.

Thanks,

Caron.

Now, that's a good percentage, Ken! I feel it's opening on the positive side from the beginning.

How did you conduct the survey? I wish you good luck with this product.

Hello- FYI The survey was conducted through a Minnesota marketing firm who used the internet web survey services of a company in Texas. The respondents fill out survey and earn "points" for each survey completed towards gift checks or store gift cards, etc. So it did cost a few bucks, but I felt that needed to be done correctly and thoroughly.
Thanks for the well wishes !
