Currently I am not employed but have got a job with a joining date next month. Can I get a loan now or have to wait till my pay?

It depends on the lender but most likely you need to wait to get approved for a loan. In most places you will find verification of your income is required to approve a loan.
Lenders normally will require at least 6 - 24 months of work record and income verification before approving you for the loan.
