my first mortgage and home was forclosed, but i have a second mortgage on this home. even though the home was foreclosed we have no idea how much the home sold for and if any thing was applied to second mortgage. the second mortgage was turned over to and attorney and i have been trying to make these payments, but my husband has lost his job and i can not make these high payments that keeps accuring high interest, what are my options.

I would suggest you to contact your first lender and check if they have made any payments towards the second mortgage. Moreover, as you have mentioned that you are making payments towards the second mortgage, I would suggest you to contact the lender and inform him about your hardship. The lender may offer you some option to pay off the dues.
