Hi,
Bankruptcy discharged last October. Unemployment kept me from keeping up on the mortgages. Still trying to negotiate with the first mortgage, just found out the 2nd was charged off. Am I protected since I filed the bankruptcy? Thanks. (WA state)

Hi seawitch,
As far as I know, though your second loan has been charged off, you will be protected under your bankruptcy filing. However, your best option would be contact your bankruptcy attorney and take his opinion in this matter.
