Company Loan Type APR Est. Pmt.

Changed loan type

Posted on: 24th Apr, 2013 12:33 am
Hello there… To my surprise, my lending institution changed my loan type. They changed it after 8 years from a conventional fixed to an FHA fixed. They did not inform me about this change. What can I legally do about this situation?
Hi Guest,

It is quite strange that your lending institution changed your loan type suddenly without informing you. It will be better if you can take legal actions against them.

Thanks

A loan agreed upon between you and the lender can't be changed later without your consent. You can take legal action against your lender.

Hi there. As others have said this is practically impossible without your consent. Take a look at the documents you signed 8 years ago first and see whether there was any language in there about this potential possibility.
