Can lender attach any monies I have if I do a deed in Leiu?
I am retired with no income, will have ss when I am 66, I am 65. I have some saved monies and some in the institution that holds my mortgage. Can the lender take my money that is in a CD.
I also have other properties with the same lender but they are fine, they are rented and payments up to date.

welcome mizznkeeper,
I suppose the lender won't go after you for any unpaid debt or deficiency that you may owe after the deed in lieu. But there can be tax consequences as the unpaid debt may be treated as income and hence taxed by the IRS.
The lender will not come after the amount that is in your CD and hopefully the deed in lieu won't affect other properties that are with the same lender.
Check out the information on deed in lieu and it's tax consequences .
