Hello... I am taking out a mortgage for my house and the loan will close soon. The lender has verified my employment. As I am pregnant I have to take leaves from my office for a long period of time. Will this affect my loan closing?

It will depend whether your are taking paid leaves or unpaid leaves. If you have paid leaves, then there won't be any problem during the closing. However, if the leaves are unpaid, then the lender and the underwriter may create problems for you.

Well, I agree to Sara's reply that paid leaves may not have problem during closing. But getting unpaid leaves, the lender as well as the under writer may create a fuss..
