Foreclosure Auction Eviction

Posted on: 13th Jul, 2012 11:30 am
I am in KS, the mortgage co. filed foreclosure a year ago. I have relocated but most of my personal property is still in that home. Since I have mail held at KS post office, I am unaware of sheriff posting or auction proceedings. Any day now court will grant foreclosure and sheriff auction or sale will be granted. How can I find out when I need to be out of the home without going back to KS? Will they lock me out? I do not have a permanent residence or permanent employment, desperately trying to get back on my feet and be financially sound.
Hi Redemption,

If you have already surrendered the property to the lender, then the property will be kept under lock and key. You will receive an eviction notice from the lender which will mention the time period within which you will have to leave the property.

Hi Redemption,

You can even contact the lender personally and check out the time period within which you will have to leave the property.

Thanks
