Foreclosure notice

Posted on: 24th May, 2013 01:49 am
I have been renting a home for the past 5 years. And have signed an agreement with GMAC. Now, we, the tenants have received a foreclosure notice from the bank as the property owner has not paid the mortgage on time. What should I do now?
Hi GAAP,

Well, as you have the agreement with GMAC, you should get in touch with them and clarify the matter. You can check out if they could let you live in the property until your agreement with them gets over.

Take care

Hi GAAP,

I think you should follow what Sara has said. You should immediately contact the lender and try to sort out the matter so that you can stay in the property.

Thanks

I also agree with Sara, you should get in touch with them and have a talk to see what is the outcome. If they agree then they may even let you live in the property.
