How can my unemployed family of 3 get help paying our mortgage up to date with out loosing our home

Unemployment benefits received from the govt are meager to cover the mortgage payments.So in this crisis situation you can write a hardship letter to lender requesting him/her to offer some restructuring of the loan so that you may be able to pay the small payments either with some part time work or being self employed till the time you get a good job.
