Both of our names are on the deed and my husband took out a private mortgage from his mother. Now he's claiming that he'll get the house in our divorce through inheritance.
Hi,
If your both of names is mentioned on property deed then its illegal. If your husbands taking Private loan from someone on your House then he must have to inform you & take your signature for agreement to pledged your own house. If he did this without your agreement & your knowledge its totally illegal. Take help of your attorney to get out from this situation.
