my name in loan not in deed my husband want divorce and sell the house
he said since his name in deed he the only owner i cant get nothing is that true?
please help me?
I amnot sure how is yoru name on the mortgage with out being on the deed.

Please check with bank and see if thats true

Is that your joint loan account?
Anyway, if you are not on the deed, it is quite clear that you are not the owner.
Only thing remaining is to check the documentation once again.

Some clarifiaction required from you about your loan.
do u read the deed that hubby have?
Please read it and see where it is joint loan account or individual account.
please confirm i think you will be on deed, he want to cheat you as he want to take divorce.

Hi Guest,

If your name is not on the property deed, then you are not the owner of the property. Thus, you won't be able to claim ownership rights to property. You can negotiate with him and ask him to transfer the property in your name. You can even buy him out which will help you in getting the ownership of the property.
