Can I sell a lein on a property?

Posted on: 16th Feb, 2010 08:35 am
After renting a property the land lord llc company would not refund the damage deposit. I have a lein on the property now thru small claims. How can I turn this in to cash?
Hi kilika!

Welcome to forums!

As far as I know, if you have placed a lien on the property, then you may be able to force the owner to sell off the property. Once they sell off the property, you would be able to recover the dues.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

How can you force some one to sell?

Hi Guest,

The person has received a court order against the other person. This may help him in forcing the other person to sell off the property.
