I am trying to modify my loan with my servicer but found out today that they are filng for chapter 11 and my loan will be sold. What option do I have and how will his affect me? A Lis Pendens has been filed already and I have been working with them. I am very concerned and want to work with my lender to help me save my home.

Once your lender sells off your mortgage to the another lender, you need to deal with the new lender and sort out the issues. You will have to keep in touch with the new lender to check out what steps you need to take to resolve it.
