if you are doing a loan modificatio does your mortgage company usually
send someone to take a
picture of your home to see
the shape the property is in.

I ahve not heard any mortgage compnay doing this.
Factors which affects modification would be, your financial situation and ability and history to pay back

Most of the lenders require an inspection of the property before they grant you a loan modification. A Real Estate professional will be sent to your home for a Broker Price Opinion. The lenders may even send an appraiser to do a complete inspection. The appraisers can take a picture of your property in order to check whether or not the property is in good shape.
