I have a habitat for humanity home going on 15 years now, the last 2 years has been very diffucult for us all but all I want is to keep my home. We have discussed deed lieu but what if I came up with the money I owe. I haven't signed anything and they are expecting an answer soon.

If you have the money to pay off the dues, you can inform the lender about it. The lender may stop the deed in lieu foreclosure in that case and can give you the option of being current on your loan.
