I'm retired from the military with twenty one years. I live in Indiana, I take care of three kids, six, five, and two, they live with me. I cant get my pension until Im (65) years owe, I'll be (59) on May 28th. I get no assistance for the kids been with me every since they were born, moms didnt want them they were in danger. And they are my grandkids. Im behind in my house taxes of $7,500 try to pay on them but, the interest keep coming dont want to lose my home, I have no mortage, what can I do. And I'm on medication from the VA. please someone tell me what I can do. I'm a good person, honest, and proud, but I need some help. :cry:

I can understand what you're going through. It's a tough situation. You can contact the officers of the concerned department regarding your property taxes and try to set up an easy and affordable payment plan to pay off the taxes. I guess this will make things easier for you.

Our right to have a property if we can afford to buy it. But its an headache when you have to pay taxes on the property you own. You have spent money on that property and still you have to pay something more to keep that property in your possession.
