My husband and I have requested a modification on our first mortgage thru Suntrust. We gave them all the info (pay, hardship letter etc..) at the beginning of March and when I call to check on the progress they just tell me the negotiater has everything and there are no new notes. We have not paid our mortgage for 2 months 1st. or 2nd. How long should this take for an answer of weather they can help with a modification?

Depending on the lenders, it may go from 60 - 90 days.
