can the house be taken

we did a contract for deed 5 years ago, now the owner is going to claim bankruptcy, we explained to him when we got in that we did not have the credit so we did contract for deed as long as monthly payments were met, which have been, never late and also raised the monthly amount for the property taxes. never late and now he is saying they might take the trailor we live in..can they do that since it's not in our name.
you need to speak with an attorney who can help you protect your investment. it would occur to me that you have a valid interest in the property in question, which ought to protect you.
